Like I said before one of my closest friends just had baby boy #3. I went to hang out with Jamie yesterday and instead of bringing a meal I brought my camera (since I am a much better photographer than I am cook!). Here is what resulted in round 2 of Porter’s newborn shoot!
Porter was happy to see me since I brought a heater.
I arrived while these two were taking a nap, and snapped this one shortly after they woke up. They are such hams! They look for me to take their picture, crazy little boys!

Here is my favorite shot from Annabelle’s 6 month shoot yesterday, isn’t she just gorgeous?!
And for those of you photo enthusiast out there, this shot was taken using 100% natural light with a reflector to the left of the baby. Camera was set at ISO 200.

Sorry this has taken me so long, but I sat down and counted registration that are in and accounted for and I am still taking 2 more moms for my camera class! For any of you who said you wanted in the class but did not send your registration, you need to contact me asap to let me know how you plan to send your money.
Note: I am sorry to those of your photographers who have asked, but this class is for moms learning to use the manual and AV modes on their cameras to take better pictures of their own children (and in a few cases grandchildren). This is not a workshop for photographers sorry!
Here are the details!
Many of you have nice new digital SLR cameras and are using them exclusively on auto mode, just like your old point and shoot. I know how hard it can be to learn how to use a camera for the first time on your own that is why I am teaching this class! Now you can take a workshop where you are one of a small group of other moms (or dads) learning the photography basics to help you get the most from your camera and capture everyday moments.
This is a picture I took of Josiah sitting on our bed when he was about 11 months old using just the light from the window.
Find out how to manually set your camera to get just what you want to take great pictures of your family everyday! Also get advice on what lenses to put on your Mother’s Day wish list!
This is a four hour workshop limited to 6 participants. Bring your camera and your questions.
Outline
Cost: $150 per person
Class size is limited to 6 participants to allow a more personalized class and plenty of time for questions so sign up early.
