Meet my super talented, henna artist friend Amy and her three spunky girls! You can check out Amy’s website here and follow her on Facebook here. These are some of my favorite images from her session.
Be sure to check out Amy’s website and Facebook page- she’s an incredible artist and a cool person to hang out with and get henna from, here’s a back piece she did for me last month:
Big families are one of my favorite subjects to photograph, the easy going nature of groups this large and general playfulness seep out out into their photos and its is a fun challenge to try and get an even number of images of each child in a big group like this. This sweet family just welcomed baby number 7 and we did a fun family session in their front yard in the peak of the Pacific Northwest colors. Here are some of my favorites!
Our friends just had their third baby yesterday, a sweet little boy named Joaquin! He was born via c-section and I couldn’t be in with them for surgery, but I came later when his big sister and brother got to meet him for the first time, which was beyond sweet. Little Joaquin weighed 6 lb 8 oz and was 19 in long, such a little teeny tiny! I’m in love already!
A couple of days ago, before Joaquin was born, his mama came to sit in my backyard in a spot I’d been eyeing for pictures and let me document her baby bump too. The night before that we were at a friends and I took some picture of the other two kids, so these are all going in one post. 🙂
Congrats Carla, Johnny, Luci and Che!
Last weekend I road down to the Skagit Valley to the Washington Bulb Company’s daffodil fields with my friend Heidi and her family for some family and kid pictures. It was a gorgeous sunset and the flowers were perfect and the company was lovely. Here are some of my favorites.
