The Byrd Family

This was such a fun reunion to see the Byrds and photograph them! Jennifer and Warren took my very first childbirth preparation class in my living room right after I had Josiah and now here they are today with two beautiful children living hours away from us! Such a precious family. Thanks Jennifer for working around my hectic schedule and for letting me photograph your family again!

“Tori’s” Newborn Shoot!

Last Thursday I shared some images from Victoria’s (Tori’s) birth, and today she came over for her newborn session! I had such a fun time posing her, holding her and giving her Mom a chance to rest while we shot! What a great family, and what a beautiful little girl!

This was my latest prop purchase, and I have just been waiting for Tori to be born to use it!

The very Lovely Sarah Peashoff made me some of her original Soup Hats over the last few months and for one reason or another I didn’t get to actually use one until today! I embellished it with a fun felt flower and it was so cute! You can check out Sarah’s Original Soup Hats on Facebook for people of all ages! Thanks Sarah!

Vince & Company

This past weekend I got to photograph the Vince and his family. It was a beautiful day and Vince and his big sister Alexandra did a great job looking sweet and having fun in front of the camera. Thanks for driving in for pictures Michelle! You guys are wonderful!

A Very Special Newborn Session

Last week I had the privilege of doing a very special newborn shoot! Just over a year ago I decided to move my business into the direction of my passion and pursue only births, maternity, newborns, babies and families and it was the best decisions I have made in my business! Around that time I was looking for some newborns to photograph to launch a newborn only section of my portfolio and it just so happened that Miss Alli was born right around that time and her aunt saw my Facebook post looking for models! Needless to say I have learned a lot since Alli’s newborn shoot just 13 months ago, and I am glad her mom wanted to bring she and her new baby brother for their shoot together!

Jamie, thanks for allowing me to be a part of your growing family! Its tough having them close together (mine are 14 months apart!), but hang in their, it gets easier! They will be best friends before you know it just like mine and they can’t live without each  other now!

Alli then, I just snatched this off FB since this file is buried away on a hard drive somewhere. This was my first newborn portfolio piece and the calmest Alli was that whole day!
