Last year I got the Oregon winter I expected during my first year in Ashland. This year its been pretty warm with barely any snow to speak of.  Kind of sad, because I LOVE to shoot in the snow. I love the cold and the way the white snow bounces light into people’s eyes…and bellies.

Amber will have a full pregnancy shoot later in Marsh with her daughter and her hubby, but today she and I escaped up the mountain to do a little snow play while there was some to play in. Thanks for hanging out with me today Amber, I had a great time!

Meet Erin. Erin is the mother if a preschooler and is also 31 weeks pregnant with naturally conceived triplets! I met Erin when I was shopping at Earth Friend Kids in Ashland one day (I love that place because I consign my kids’ used items and always have store credit to buy them new things they need!). I heard Erin telling one of the sweet ladies that work there that she was having triplets. Of course I could not help but go meet her and I am so glad I did. Erin is not only a beautiful mama, she is full of honesty and grace as well. I loved every minute I spent with her during this shoot and although I know she has quite a challenge ahead of her, she will face is with lots of heart and strength.

Erin is also a prenatal yoga instructor (when she’s not on bed rest) at Trillium Waterbirth Center in Medford. So be sure to look for her classes whenever she goes back to teaching! Leave some well wishes and encouragement in the comments below. I am sure she would appreciate it.

Yesterday Ecopiggy: Natural Children’s Products Owner and beautiful pregnant mama Hayley and I drove up Mount Ashland hoping to find a wintery wonderland for some fun pregnancy photos. Unfortunately even though there had been a light power there was very little snow to be found and on in small shady areas. Thankfully Hayley still has time before her due date and I hope the weather will give us some good snow for another shoot soon! For now, he is one from yesterday! Today I got to spend some fun time visiting with my friend Julie. She is one of the fabulous mommas behind  Cute As A Button, a line of hair accessories that I LOVE for kids and adults.  She is also pregnant with TWINS! I am so excited for them to get here, but since they were wanting to come a bit too early she is on bed rest. So today we stuck close to the couch and did a few pregnancy photos  of her beautiful baby belly, ate and talked. Here is the lovely Julie!
