Category Archives: Newborn Babies

Babies in the first 2 weeks of life.

Yesterday I got to spend a couple hours over at baby Joaquin’s house with his family. This baby is too much sweetness! I could have held him all day.

I love any opportunity to photograph newborns in their homes, with their families in natural settings. It’s more of a lifestyle approach to newborn photography that I really dig (even though I still love posing sleeping babies too, its fun that my families enjoy different styles and I get to do them all!). Here are a few of my favorites.

If you would like to bring the family some meals you can sign up for that here.

I have had such a hard time blogging consistently now that I am a mother of three (even though, yes, it has been almost 18 months since my third). I really am trying to be better. Here are a few of my favorites from this family’s maternity session and then their newborn session a few weeks later, both done at their home. I offer discounts to families looking to book any combination of pregnancy and newborn portrait sessions and birth photography, which almost all of my clients take advantage of. I love getting to see a couple transition into parenthood!

Three months ago this sweet mama contacted me to book  a newborn session for her little one because she knew that soon after birth he would have to get casts on his legs for clubbed feet. It was great that she did since he was born during the busy Christmas season and he only had a few days between being born, being in the hospital and going back for casts! This guy was one of the easiest newborns I have ever photographed and oh so tiny with some serious rock star status hair. 🙂 I love getting to mix up some lifestyle newborn shots and some sleepy posed ones. Enjoy!

Today I had the pleasure of having my aunt and little cousin (who isn’t little anymore!) up in Bellingham and I got to meet my brand new little second cousin Dean! It was a sweet time together and Dean is a handsome little dude that I just adored photographing.  Here’s a few from our time together.
