Free Kittens!

So my sweet little sister, Nicole was walking home from my house a couple days ago and happened upon a cardboard box left in the parking lot near our house. The box was full of 7 abandoned kittens and of course she took them home. Now there are 7 kittens that need home in the next few weeks. If you or someone you know would like to give one of these kittens a home please email me or call me.

Calling all nurses!

I love nurses. It may sound weird, but I do. One of my best friends, Kristi is a nurse and I love her and most other nurses too. It comes from photographing births and teaching childbirth classes. A good nurse makes my job so much easier. A good nurse can calm a stressed out dad, encourage a laboring woman, and keep the blasted mother in laws out of everyone’s hair like nobody’s business  (but not mine of course, love you Zelda :). Anyways I have had some great nurses during both my births (that is Kristi with me right after Autumn was born, taken by my sweet friend Jenn). Many of your ladies (and gentlemen of course), have families and children that you care for on top of all your patients, so bravo!

Anyways, in celebration of my favorite nurses birthday this coming Sunday, I am offering all you nurses a special deal! Leave a comment on this post and/or add me as a friend on Facebook and you can book any session for half off the normal price or  get a free 16X24 mounted print from your session. All bookings must be made before midnight on Kristi’s birthday, this Sunday so act fast!

Oh and if you have been one of my labor nurses you may book any session for FREE until the deadline, so quick someone go tell my nurses! 🙂

Sweet pregnant Kristi!

Brayden

I had the best time with Brayden and his parents today. Bradyen is just 6 days younger than my son Josiah so it was almost like being at home, shooting him. I just love toddler boys! (Don’t worry I love girls too, boys are just different!) We shot out at Brayden’s grandparent’s house, and it is a dream house for a grandchild. A pool, pasture, horses, cows, creeks, a pond, and fish! What more could a little boy (or a photographer for that matter!) ask for; and what was even more wonderful was that Brayden’s dad drove us all around in the golf cart to various locations to shoot. He tells me I can rent him for other shoots, and I think you pregnant mommas wouldn’t mind that at all!

Brayden’s mom (who is also named Crystal:) brought him a watermelon for our shoot after seeing Jill’s maternity pics eating watermelon. Don’t worry Jill Brayden made a much bigger mess:).

Little Visitors

Yesterday before my shoot my freins Leigh Ann  had a dentist appointment so she brought her three girls over to play while she went to her appointment. I had 5 kids in my house under the age of four and my kids were so excited for the company on a rainy day!

Newborn Triplets

Today my friend Jamie came along to be a second baby handler (wedding photographers have “second shooters”, I have a second handler:) Jamie was invaluable since we has three newborns to handle.

Wyatt, Hayden, and Dylan are a rare occurrence of triplets because they are all three boys and they were conceived naturally, without the use of fertility treatments, wow! These three little precious boys were definitely exciting to photograph, and as you can see they are very photogenic already!

Thanks for you help Jamie! Your boys’ next pictures are on the house!
